The story behind your news
Useful discovery starts with clear context. Here’s how stories reach MWK, what our signals mean, and where to raise a concern.
Original publishers, one place to explore
MWK is a discovery service, not the publisher of the linked articles. Our current news feed is supplied by NewsAPI.ai. Story cards identify the publisher and link to its website, where you can read the original reporting and check its publication date, updates, and context.
A link or publisher logo does not imply a partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement. Publisher content remains subject to the rights and terms of its respective owners.
How stories are selected
Our systems collect and organize stories automatically. Selection can take account of recency, available country and language information, topic relevance, duplicate coverage, and signals from our news provider. Followed interests and hidden publishers can change what appears in your browser.
Where available, event coverage signals help us identify subjects receiving attention from multiple publications. A coverage count is a measure of reporting activity, not a count of readers, shares, or votes. A prominent position is not a guarantee that a story is the most popular or most important in a particular country.
Coverage varies. When a specific edition has limited material, we may show broader coverage. We do not promise complete coverage of every country, language, or topic.
Context behind the headlines
Headlines, descriptions, publication information, and article images are supplied through the news feed. A photograph is shown only when the feed supplies an image; we do not generate replacement news photographs or substitute unrelated stock images. Some stories appear without a photograph.
Automation can misclassify a story or miss a correction. MWK does not independently verify every report, image, or claim. Open the original article for the fuller picture, and compare sources when a claim matters to a decision you are making.
News, opinion, and analysis can appear together. A story’s inclusion does not mean MWK adopts the author’s views.
Corrections & concerns
To flag a misleading headline, wrong image, broken link, duplicate story, or other presentation problem, contact hello@mwk.com with the article link and what appears to be wrong. We can review the card, its categorization, or its availability on MWK. The original publisher controls corrections to its own reporting.
For a rights complaint, please use our copyright notice process. We may remove or restrict a listing while a concern is reviewed. Automated feeds can change, so include enough detail to identify the material.
Weather & commercial disclosures
Forecasts use data from MET Norway, based on an approximate location. Values are rounded and are forecasts, not a guarantee of observed conditions. Follow your local authorities for severe-weather warnings and emergency instructions.
The current website has no paid story placements or affiliate links. If we introduce sponsored placements, we will identify them clearly. News categories such as Finance and Sports do not imply that live market prices, scores, or betting services are available.
